This guide provides step-by-step instructions for requesting a new version of a document in the Documents section when the current file is nearing its expiration date.

Step 1: Access the Documents Section

  • Navigate to the Documents Section in the eftsure portal.

Step 2: Open the Actions Menu

  • Locate the document for which you want to request a new version.
  • Click on the Actions button associated with that document.

Step 3: Select “Request a New Version”

  • From the dropdown menu, click on “Request a New Version.”
  • This option will enable you to send a request to the entity, asking them to upload an updated version of the document.

Step 4: Fill in the Entity's Email Address

  • A prompt will appear, allowing you to enter the email address of the entity.
  • Click on the input box to fill in the email address of the entity.

Step 5: Send the Request

  • Once you have entered the email address, click “Send” to send the request to the entity.

Step 6: Confirm Request Sent

  • After sending the request, you can confirm that it has been sent successfully.
  • Check the fourth column in the Document Section; it will be highlighted in yellow to indicate that the update request has been sent.
