Making an Entity Active User Guide

User Guide: Making an Entity Active

To activate an entity, you must have the "Make Entity Active" user right. Please keep this in mind.
  1. Access the "Make Entity Active" Option

    • In the Entities Section, click on the Actions button, and then click on "Make Entity Active".

  2. Complete and Submit the form

    • Once you click on the "Make Entity Active" option, an Entity Update (external) invite form will open.
    • After completing the form, click Continue to proceed.
    • This form will then be sent out to the entity to fill out in case any of their information has changed since being marked "Inactive".
    • If there is no approval process set up for making an entity active, then the record will rerun verification.
  3. Approval Process

    • If there is an approval process set up for making an entity active, the below steps will occur:
    • The submitted form will follow the same approval steps as a new onboarding process and can be found in the Onboardings section.
    • All relevant approvers will be notified and instructed to review the form in the onboardings section to approve the request.

  4. Final Approval

    • Once the form has passed through all the approval steps, the last action is to click the "Make Entity Active" button at the bottom of the page.

    • The record will then rerun verification, in order to see whether the details are verified.
    • Once this is complete, the status of the entity will officially change to Active and can be found in the Entities section once again.
