Identifying Whether an Entity is Valid
Determining the Validity of an Entity
The eftsure portal features visual indicators in the Entities section, designed to help assess the validity of an entity's identifier, such as a Company Registration Number or ID. This guide clarifies the meaning of each visual indicator and highlights any additional icons that may appear.
Visual Indicators for Entity ID Status
Next to the Entity Identifier in the Entity Info column, you'll see some of the following icons, indicating the entity's ID status:
Green Tick
- Indicates that the entity's Company Registration Number or ID number is valid.
- If the entity identifier is an ID number, the tick means that the entity is alive.
Red Cross
- Indicates that the entity's Company Registration Number or ID number is invalid.
- This suggests there is an issue with the entity ID, such as an incorrect or unverified registration number.
- If the entity identifier is an ID number, the cross means that the entity is deceased.
Orange Triangle
- Indicates that the entity ID status is unknown.
- This could mean the information is incomplete or awaiting verification.
Additional Icons in the Entity Information Column
Red File Icon
- Indicates that a required document has expired.
- The expired document may need to be updated or resubmitted for verification.
Orange File Icon
- Indicates that a required document will expire soon.
- It's a reminder to update the document to avoid expiration and maintain compliance.
Viewing More Details
- To get further details about an entity's status, click on the Entities Name. This will display additional information, including any issues or reasons why a particular status appears.
